If God has loved us, and we have placed our faith in him, then we will respond not only by Loving God, but also by Loving Others – both our brothers and sisters, and our enemies. If we don’t have this sort of love, the apostle John says, then that reveals that we don’t know God, and aren’t followers of Jesus.
