When we are faint and downhearted, when you feel far from God, remember that Jesus died and rose again, just as he said he would. There is no wound that he cannot heal, there is nothing bent that he cannot make straight.
He died for our sins and rose again on the third day, and will one day return to gather his people under his wings, to welcome them into his tent, where he will rule over them as their king and their savior forever and ever.
Look up to the Lord, not around at the world; Look ahead to what is coming, not at what you have now; Look to Jesus for salvation, not to yourself.
